Our partnership with Yarrow Energy began with a highly detailed exploration and consultation phase. We worked hand-in-hand with their executive team to define the needs of multiple user groups across both an app and a centralised console. This process included wireframing, sequence diagrams, and full system blueprints for the app and website, ensuring every stakeholder's workflow and requirement was mapped before a single line of code was written. This foundational work continues to guide development as the new Yarrow app and console take shape in our studio.
With the system architecture in motion, we turned our attention to building Yarrow's new brand from the ground up. Working directly with the Yarrow Energy executive team, we developed comprehensive brand guidelines covering Pantone palette, font systems, tone of voice, stylisation, patterns, and logo. This included successfully trademarking the Yarrow Energy logo, securing the foundation for a brand that is distinctive, protected, and future-ready. The guidelines became the north star for every design and communication decision, ensuring consistency across all channels.
From brand to build, we applied our design and development process to create the new Yarrow Energy website — alongside parts of the back-end dashboard. The site inherits the clarity and confidence of the new brand guidelines, while the dashboard architecture draws directly from our initial user exploration work. The result is a digital ecosystem that feels as cohesive as it is functional: clean, intuitive, and engineered for scale. Today, the new Yarrow Energy website is live, embodying both the brand and the blueprint of the wider system.
Our collaboration with Yarrow Energy is ongoing. We continue to support them with turnkey marketing activity and are excited to launch the Yarrow Energy apps and console in early 2026. With brand, website, and system foundations firmly in place, Yarrow Energy is now positioned to grow its presence across the UK with confidence, powered by technology designed to keep pace with ambition.
Working with Vertical Vertical has been a genuinely enjoyable part of building Yarrow Energy. We started with the logo, then moved into the full brand work, and that early phase set the tone for everything that followed. I remember seeing the first round of concepts and thinking, right, they actually get what I am trying to build here. Once we moved into the exploration task, the conversations became even more detailed. They dug into how the company works day to day, what we want to solve for customers, and how the service might grow over the next few years. It helped me sharpen my own thinking, and it meant that when we stepped into the architectural blueprint for the system and console, it all fell into place quite naturally. It never felt like a tick-box exercise. They asked the right questions and pushed me where it mattered.
The website has been the final piece of that journey so far, and I am genuinely proud of it. It looks sharp without trying too hard, and it feels like a proper reflection of the business I am building. The attention to detail is obvious, but it is the ease of use that really stands out. Friends and partners have already commented on how clean it feels and how quickly you can get to what you need.
Vertical Vertical have been patient, clear, and incredibly easy to work with. There has been a real sense of partnership throughout the process, and I have always felt that they were looking out for the long term rather than just trying to finish a job and move on.
